Forged in the heart of Milledgeville, blue. is an alt-punk project making waves in the greater Atlanta area and beyond. The band embodies the head-banging heartbeats and stick-it-to-the-man attitudes of their post-grunge predecessors. 

 

Childhood friends Trevor Weaver (vocals/guitar) and Gavin Glover (drums) served as founding members of the band, and Reid Smallwood recently joined the trifecta as their bassist. blue.’s blossoming success in the local scene has launched them into home-grown stardom, taking on historic venues like The Masquerade and Ciné Athens.

 

blue.’s debut EP, And All Things Considered, explores themes of grief, loss, and rebirth. Inspired by the bandmates’ individual brushes with tragedy, the tracks delve into the importance of introspection and leaning on your loved ones in times of trouble. 

 

Whilst navigating their own battles, blue. seeks to be a beacon of hope in the darkness. Onstage and off, the band purposes to perpetuate a culture of community, reminding fans of their simple but powerful mantra: “All we have is each other.”
